丹扬,博士。美国加州大学伯克利分校神经生物学系教授。HHMI研究员。北京大学本科毕业后于美国哥伦比亚大学取得博士学位,毕业后在美国洛克菲勒大学进行博士后研究。主要从事神经及脑科学研究。

研究皮层环路与动力学(在脑片中)。在视觉皮层脑片中进行膜片钳记录实验,研究前馈、循环和反馈通路在信息处理和活动依赖性可塑性中的相互作用。双光子Ca2+成像使我们能够在树突水平研究处理过程。 ADFASDFAF23RQ23R
在体感受野特性的神经环路表征。除了细胞外记录,还在视皮层中进行全细胞(细胞内)记录,以监测视觉刺激期间皮层神经元的兴奋性和抑制性突触输入,并调控突触后膜电位。使用线性和非线性计算技术分析对复杂刺激(如白噪声、自然场景)的反应,以理解视觉神经元各种反应特性背后的皮层环路、神经调节输入的影响以及经验依赖性感受野可塑性的机制。 ADSFAEQWER353423413434
通过多电极记录和成像研究群体编码。将使用多电极记录、双光子成像或电压敏感染料成像同时测量多个神经元的活动。这些实验将使我们能够表征群体神经活动的时空模式及其在视觉编码中的作用。

探索清醒动物感知的神经相关物。除了人类心理物理学实验外,我们还建立了用于研究视觉感知的啮齿动物行为范式。同时在清醒啮齿动物中进行多电极记录,以理解感知背后的神经活动模式。
