卓敏,加拿大皇家科学院院士,多伦多大学生理系终身正教授。福建霞浦人,1964年11月生,1980年霞浦一中高中毕业,1985年获中国科学技术大学生物系学士学位;毕业后考入中国科学院上海生理研究所攻读研究生,转博后前往美国艾奥瓦大学药理系联合培养,并于1992年获该校博士学位。1992至1995年在美国哥伦比亚大学神经生物学和行为研究中心诺贝尔奖获得者E. R. Kandel实验室任博士后;1995至1996年在美国斯坦福大学分子生理学系美国科学院院士R. W. Tsien实验室任博士后。曾任美国华盛顿大学医学院助理教授(1996至1999年)、副教授(1999至2002年)和教授(2002至2003年),华盛顿大学痛觉中心创建人之一、基础研究部主任。现任加拿大多伦多大学生理系教授、EJLB基金和加拿大国立研究院第一届及神经科学领域唯一的特聘教授(Smith Chair in Neuroscience, EJLB-CIHR)、加拿大特聘研究教授(Canadian Research Chair, Tiger I)、第一份Online痛觉研究杂志Molecular Pain主编、2004年中国科学院海外学者专家评审团成员、王宽诚访问学者、Pfizer公司痛觉生物学科学咨询委员会成员,2009年当选加拿大皇家科学院院士。在国际权威杂志如Nature, Science, Neuron, Nature Neurosci, J Neurosci等杂志上发表研究论文80余篇、综述10余篇。 ADSFAEQWER353423413434

卓敏教授是神经生物学领域的国际知名专家。他在国际权威杂志如Nature, Science, Neuron, Nature Neurosci, J Neurosci等杂志上发表研究论文200余篇、综述24篇。他主编了第一本分子疼痛的英文教科书由国家高等教育出版社和Springer联合出版。除了致力于基础研究,他认为生物医学研究最终应该造福于人类。他己拥有5项有关新药研制的国际及美国专利

卓敏在中枢神经系统感觉信息下行易化调控的研究中,第一次报道了RVM通过下行易化对感觉信息的调控现象,从而开创了大脑脊髓下行易化研究的新领域。在逆行信使中枢神经系统中,卓敏关于一氧化氮一氧化碳学习记忆,感觉信息传递与痛觉,以及皮层功能等方面的功能性;在第一级感觉突触中,谷氨酸是唯一的在腰椎脊髓背角介导快兴奋性突触传递的递质;卓敏用“聪明鼠”作为动物模型,在研究前扣带皮层在慢性痛和认知功能的研究中,发现NR2B选择性在前脑水平的表达在整体行为和细胞水平记忆形成上发生了改变,而且,这种动物表现出增强的慢性痛表型,从而第一次证明前脑NMDA受体在慢性痛的调控中起重要作用;研究结果发表在Science, Nature, Nature Neuroscience, Pain, Learning & Memory 和Neuron等国际一流期刊。卓敏将找到调控认知水平和治疗脑疾病的关键分子和新靶点(novel drug target),并为新药的开发和转化医学研究提供指导。目前已经发现,通过对AC1活性的干扰,可以有效地减轻动物慢性痛的症状,研究结果发表于Science Translational Medicine。 ADSFAEQWER353423413434
