薛勇彪,研究员,中国科学院遗传与发育生物学研究所所长。1983年毕业于兰州大学生物学系动物学专业,获理学学士学位;1986年于中国科学院发育生物学研究所获理学硕士学位;1989年于John Innes Institute和University of East Anglia获博士学位;1990-1995年先后在John Innes Centre和University of Oxford从事博士后研究;1995-1997年任John Innes Centre Sainsbury Laboratory Research Scientist。1998年入选中国科学院“百人计划”,同年获国家杰出青年科学基金。现任研究所所长、国家973计划“水稻功能基因组学研究”项目首席科学家,并担任《遗传学报》和《遗传》主编,兼任山东农业大学、北京师范大学、兰州大学和北京大学兼职或客座教授。 ADFASDFAF23RQ23R

薛勇彪实验室主要研究显花植物花粉识别的分子机制。目前实验室的主要研究方向包括:
金鱼草自交不亲和性的分子机制
自交不亲和性是研究植物花粉识别的模式系统。在以茄科植物为代表的配子体自交不亲和植物中,目前的研究结果表明这些植物的自交不亲和性位点(S-位点)编码两类不同的基因分别控制花柱和花粉自交不亲和性的表达。花柱基因编码了一类核酸酶称为S-核酸酶,而花粉基因则编码一类新的F-box基因(S-locus F-box, SLF),共同构成一个S-单倍型(S-Haplotype)控制自交不亲和性的表达。我们实验室以金鱼草为模式系统克隆了SLF家族的第一个成员—AhSLF-S2,并证明它控制了花粉自交不亲和性的表达,并且它编码的蛋白质通过形成一个SCF(Skp1/Cullin or CDC53/F-box)复合体与S-核酸酶发生作用。与此同时,我们进一步证明泛素/26S蛋白小体介导的蛋白质降解途径特异性地参与了金鱼草的亲和反应。但是,这两类蛋白质如何相互作用产生特异性花粉识别的机理还不清楚。我们实验室目前的主要工作是利用分子遗传、生物化学和细胞生物学等手段,研究这些蛋白质的作用机理以及S-位点的起源和进化机制。 ADFASDFAF23RQ23R
水稻传粉和受精的分子控制
传粉和受精是种子形成的重要基础。但是我们对于它的分子机理了解还非常不够。目前我们构建了一个由1万多条非冗余cDNA组成的微阵列,并且获得了水稻传粉和受精相关的基因表达谱,克隆了一批候选基因,正在详细鉴定它们的生物学功能。同时,我们与福建农业大学的吴为人和段远霖合作图位克隆控制水稻开花、花器官发育的关键基因。 ADFASDFAF23RQ23R
棉花纤维发育相关基因的克隆和功能鉴定
棉花纤维是胚珠表皮细胞特化的结果。通常30%左右的表皮细胞分化形成棉纤维。目前关于胚珠表皮细胞分化成纤维的分子机理的了解非常有限。利用同源基因克隆的途径,我们分离鉴定了50多个在棉纤维发育早期表达的MYB类转录因子,并发现了一个在纤维发育起始期和伸长期特异表达基因GhMYB109。目前我们正在利用转基因等方法研究该基因在棉纤维发育中的作用机理。
